Who can apply

Applicants must attend a college or university campus physically located in California, New York, or Texas. Three scholarships are available for students attending campuses in each state:

• California: Three awards for students attending a college or university campus anywhere in California
• New York: Three awards for students attending a college or university campus anywhere in New York
• Texas: Three awards for students attending a college or university campus anywhere in Texas

Applicants will self-report their college or university name, campus name if applicable, campus city, and campus state. Students attending multiple campuses or studying fully online should list their primary or designated home campus and confirm that the information provided is accurate.

You do not need to be failing a class, have a low GPA, or be struggling academically to apply or be selected. Applying is free, and no purchase is required.

How recipients are selected

Recipients will be selected based on their academic or professional goals and their explanation of how 20 hours of tutoring could make a meaningful impact on those goals.

Some applicants may be invited to participate in a video interview so Exam Experts can learn more about their goals and how tutoring could support them. Applicants selected for an interview will receive scheduling information by email.

How the award works

• Each recipient receives 20 total hours of Exam Experts tutoring for STEM or nursing coursework.
• The award must be used exclusively for Exam Experts tutoring services. It is not a cash award, and no cash alternative is available.
• Tutoring becomes available beginning January 25, 2027.
• All 20 tutoring hours must be completed by May 28, 2027.
• Unused hours expire after May 28, 2027, and will not carry over to a later semester.

Applicant information and reviews

Applicant information will be used only to administer the scholarship, including reviewing applications, communicating with applicants, scheduling video interviews, and coordinating tutoring for recipients. Exam Experts will not sell applicant information or share it for unrelated marketing purposes. See the Exam Experts Privacy Policy.

Each recipient must submit an honest review of their Exam Experts tutoring experience directly to Exam Experts. A positive review is not required. Any public marketing endorsement—including use of a recipient’s name, image, or testimonial in advertising—is optional, requires separate permission, and will not affect the award or tutoring.

Official Scholarship Rules

1. Sponsor: Exam Experts administers the Spring 2027 Exam Experts Tutoring Scholarship. Questions may be sent to support@examexperts.org.
2. Entry: Applications are free and no purchase is required. Applications must be submitted using the form on this page between November 2, 2026, and January 8, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
3. Campus eligibility and state awards: Applicants must attend a college or university campus physically located in California, New York, or Texas. Three awards are available for each state. Applicants must provide the institution name, campus name if applicable, campus city, and state, and confirm those details are accurate. Students attending multiple campuses or studying fully online should use their primary or designated home campus.
4. Selection: Recipients will be selected based on their academic or professional goals and how they explain that 20 hours of tutoring could make a meaningful impact on those goals. Some applicants may be invited to a video interview. Exam Experts will email interview scheduling information to selected applicants.
5. Awards: Nine recipients will each receive 20 hours of Exam Experts tutoring for STEM or nursing coursework, with a stated value of $1,000 per award. The award is not cash, has no cash alternative, and must be used exclusively for Exam Experts tutoring services.
6. Notification and use: Recipients will be notified by email no later than January 22, 2027. Tutoring becomes available January 25, 2027. All awarded hours must be completed by May 28, 2027. Unused hours expire after that date and do not carry over to a later semester.
7. Applicant information: Information submitted will be used only to administer the scholarship, including application review, applicant communications, video interview scheduling, and tutoring coordination for recipients. Exam Experts will not sell applicant information or share it for unrelated marketing. The Privacy Policy also applies.
